US & Canada Fulfillment Starting Next Week
about 1 month ago
– Fri, Feb 20, 2026 at 03:02:23 AM
My dear backers,
I want to share a quick update on US and Canada fulfillment.
After completing the final logistics steps, fulfillment for US and Canada orders is expected to begin by the end of next week. The last phase took a bit longer than planned due to changing international shipping conditions, but everything is now on its way.
Shipments for all other regions are already on their way.
I truly appreciate your patience and continued support - thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Much love
Daniel
Mosaic Mantis Playing Cards
"The idea for this deck stemmed from the beauty of nature. I express it with lively renditions. The mosaic idea breaks down the incredible complexity of mantis species into simple polygons that capture the unique forms. When KTrickstery came up with the idea of rendering a mantis in mosaic style, I was immediately hooked." - Eva, Improv Playing Cards Artist
Fulfillment Update

My dear backers,
before the month comes to an end, I wanted to share a quick fulfillment update with you.
Gambler’s Warehouse was originally scheduled to receive the cards on Tuesday. Due to the challenging weather conditions currently affecting Texas, the delivery has been delayed by a few days. At the moment, I don't yet have an exact arrival date, but it shouldn't take much longer.
Orders that are being shipped directly by me from Germany are already about 90% packed, and I've started sending out the first parcels this week. I'm doing everything I can to get all remaining packages out as quickly as possible. The majority of orders shipped directly by me will be on their way by the end of next week at the latest.
A few of you still haven't completed the survey yet. Please make sure to fill it out as soon as possible, as I won’t be able to ship your cards without the required information:
If you have any issues with your email address, please just DM me and we'll find a solution.
Thank you so much for your patience and continued support - I'll keep you updated as soon as I have more news. ❤️
Much love

Sneak Peek: One Card Revealed

My dear backers,
I had a few decks sent to me via express shipping and wanted to share some early observations with you - to hopefully make the wait a little more enjoyable.
The first thing that stood out immediately was the incredible sharpness of the print quality. Quite honestly, it doesn't get better than this. These are the sharpest cards I've ever produced with WJPC so far.
I asked my contact what caused this noticeable improvement, and her response was:
“This is related to the printer’s skill; the ink application was just right this time. It's impossible to guarantee perfection every time.”
In previous decks, there was always a slight amount of ink spread, which especially affected very fine details. In the comparison below, you can clearly see this effect in the eyes - the card on the right became noticeably darker, causing a loss of detail.
Black Roses White Gold Edition vs. Black Roses Casino Gold Foil Edition
The gold foil application is also exceptionally precise and clean - which truly makes me very happy. Hot foil stamping naturally tends to spread slightly along the edges, which is why I completely redesigned every single detail that is printed with foil in the new decks.
This is something that can easily go unnoticed, which is exactly why I wanted to specifically point it out in this update.
It already starts at the top of the crown and carries through every single detail. As you can see in the comparison, the latest version on the left is simply much cleaner and more refined overall. Take a look at the sword's crossguard: on the card to the right, the outline is barely visible. That this detail appears much cleaner in the new version is no coincidence. To show a little more of the golden grip, I also changed the finger position slightly.
Ultimately, it's incredibly difficult to truly capture this level of precision in photographs shot on a phone. The images simply don't do it justice compared to how the cards look and feel in real life - which makes me even more excited for you to finally hold them in your own hands very soon.

– Tue, Dec 30, 2025 at 07:20:20 AM
My dear backers,
good news - the shipment of the cards is now being arranged. All cards will arrive in Germany by mid-January, with the US shipment expected in approximately one month.
As soon as the cards arrive, fulfillment will begin immediately.
As announced in the last update, you will shortly receive an email from BackerKit to complete your shipping payment. The surveys will be sent out right after this update, so please keep an eye on your inbox.
Within BackerKit, you'll also have the option to add additional add-ons to your pledge - a great opportunity if you'd like to pick up another Red Roses deck or add a Black Roses White Gold Edition to your collection.
Every add-on placed through BackerKit directly helps offset the additional costs that come with using this platform and contributes to a smooth and reliable fulfillment process for everyone involved. Your continued support truly makes a difference, and it's sincerely appreciated.
Thank you so much for your patience and support. We're now entering the final steps, and I'm very much looking forward to getting the decks into your hands.

First Look at the Decks & Shipping Cost Update
3 months ago
– Fri, Dec 19, 2025 at 06:53:59 AM
My dear backers,
Due to an unfortunate oversight on my part, no shipping costs were charged during the entire Red Roses Kickstarter campaign. I know this is unexpected, so I’d like to briefly explain what happened and how we’ll move forward.
Earlier this year, Kickstarter introduced a new pledge manager system. Creators can choose to use it or continue working with the classic setup. I decided against the new system because it applies different VAT rules depending on the backer’s country, which would have led to very inconsistent final prices - especially for those of you who backed larger bundles.
When setting up the rewards, I was shown a new section with “estimated shipping costs” for each country instead of the usual shipping fields. I assumed this was part of Kickstarter’s update and that the final amounts would be calculated and charged after the campaign.
So I selected “charge shipping post-campaign,” believing Kickstarter would automatically collect the actual shipping fees later on.
Only afterwards did I learn that this option only works if the creator activates the new pledge manager or uses a third-party service to collect the fees. Since I intentionally opted out of Kickstarter’s pledge manager, the system displayed the estimated shipping costs during checkout - but never charged them.
Long story short: the solution is BackerKit.
I will send you a BackerKit survey in a few days where you can submit your shipping payment quickly and easily.
I sincerely apologize for this unexpected extra step and want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your understanding and continued support. It truly means a lot.
Wishing you and your families a peaceful Merry Christmas. If you find yourself alone over the holidays, please don’t hesitate to reach out - I’d be glad to chat.
